Following endorsements by traditional rulers, community rulers and youths, the 15,000-strong Joint Tricycle Association of Kwara State, Friday threw its weight behind the Kwara South Senatorial ambition of Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.
Speaking at a rally in support of the Governor Ahmed on Friday at Kwara State Government Banquet Hall, Prince Duro Oyebade, Chairman of the association commended Governor Ahmed for his various pro-people policies.
This, he said includes the affordable SME Scheme and the purchase of 250 tricycles for its members.“All members of our association fully identifies with you and your ambition to represent the good people of Kwara South”, said Oyebade.
Responding, Governor Ahmed thanked members of the association for their endorsement of his aspiration to become the Senator representing Kwara South.
He also solicited the association’s support for the presidential ambition of Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.The Governor thereafter pledged to continue the implementation of people-friendly programs till his last day in office.
