The Kwara State Environmental Protection Agency Amendment Bill Twenty Twenty-Three and Kwara State Education Trust Fund Amendment Bill Twenty Twenty-Three today scaled through second reading at the State House of Assembly.
The two Executive Bills passed second reading on the floor of the House following a debate on the bills led by House Leader; Hon. Magaji Oba-Abdulkadir during today’s sitting.
Hon. Oba-Abdulkadir pointed out that the State Education Trust Fund bill Intends to restructure Education for optimum performance to ensure hitch free funding of education in the state.
On Environmental Protection Agency Amendment Bill, House Leader expressed worry over industrial and commercial wastes indiscriminately dumped within Ilorin Metropolis and advocated increase of penalties for the erring citizens to curb the menace.
