Kwara Governor Visits Children Specialist Hospital, Listen To Complaints From Patients

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, today paid an unscheduled visit to the Children Specialist Hospital, Centre-Igboro, Ilorin, the state capital.

After a briefing that lasted for a few minutes, the Governor, accompanied by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Council toured wards and units in the medical facility for first hand information.

While listening to complaints from some mothers, who brought their children to the hospital for medical attention, the Governor was also briefed about the working conditions in the medical facility.

The hospital, which specializes in providing care for kids, has been experiencing acute shortage of medical doctors, thus limiting the number of patients to be attended to daily.
