Kwara declares Friday (Today)work-free day for civil servants

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has declared Friday, February 24, 2023, a work-free day for the state civil servants.

This was contained in a statement by the Kwara State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole, in Ilorin on Thurs

The statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Head of Service, Murtala Atoyebi, explained that the holiday “is to enable the state workers to travel down to their respective polling areas to actively participate in the Presidential election holding on Saturday.”

She admonished all citizens of the state, particularly civil servants, to perform their civic responsibility during the electioneering period without any acrimony.
