Israel Reportedly Agrees On Four-Hour Daily Ceasefires in Gaza

Barely a month after the commencement of an intense war between the Israeli military and Hamas militants, Israel has agreed to implement four-hour pauses in fighting each day in the northern Gaza strip, the White House has said.

White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby said an announcement would be made three hours beforehand.

He added that the United States have been told by the Israelis that there will be no military operations in northern Gaza each day throughout the pause and that this process is starting on Thursday.
