Egypt’s Red Crescent says it has delivered a third batch of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing.
The Egyptian Red Crescent in a statement via its social media page said it has delivered relief aid to the Gaza Strip to be delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society as a third phase of which the number of trucks delivering aid was not specified in the statement.
“We were displaced from Tal al-Hawa to Rafah, at the request of the Israeli army, and this is what happened to us. My son is a 3-month-old martyr,” said the father of a child killed in the bombing.
Similarly, Turkey says it has sent more aid supplies to the Gaza Strip, a day after a presidential plane carrying medical supplies and 20 health workers reached Egypt.
The country’s Defence Ministry said in a post on its social media page that a military plane carrying aid packages, which mostly consist of medical supplies, departed from Ankara for Egypt.
