Fuel Subsidy Removal: Painful But Necessary Says Kwara NOA Director

The fuel subsidy removal by federal goverment has been described as a step taken to protect our future, though with painful effects.

Mr Olusegun Adeyemi, the State Director National Orientation Agency stated this when he appeared a Kwara Television programme.

Adeyemi emphasised that a situation where the   larger percentage of government income is used to service debts which includes subsidy on petrol is alarming and can further damage the economy of Nigeria.

The NOA Director added that the heavy funds freed from subsidy payment would be used to boost other sectors of the economy such as agriculture,  health and education which would be in the interest of all and sundry.

The NOA Helmsman further appealed to Nigerians to support the President Tinubu led administration and join hands to build Nigeria.
