As stakeholders continue to unite and work for peaceful coexistence in Kwara State, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the Nigeria Police in Kwara State have resolved to strengthen the existing synergy in both organizations.
This was disclosed when the NOA State Director, Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi led members of his Management team to pay a courtesy call on the new Commissioner of Police in Kwara, CP Paul Odama in his office.
Adeyemi explained that the visit was to fashion out more pragmatic means of collaboration between NOA and Nigeria Police as the nation gears up to 2023 general elections.
The NOA Director intimated the CP on the strategies NOA is engaging to reach out to the electorate in Kwara especially how the Agency has been at the forefront of the campaign for peace even to the grassroots level, as well as its voter education efforts.
On his part CP Odama acknowledged the vital role Kwara NOA has been playing and promised his Command’s readiness to further synergize with the agency to maintain peace among residents of Kwara before, during and after the forth-coming general elections.
