Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Charges Youths To Shun Internet Fraud

Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa has appealed to Nigerians to shun fraud.

The senior police officer counselled the youths while giving his speech on “Inherent risks on Cyber/Internet fraud” at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries in Dakwo Mega Region, Abuja.

Represented by Assistant Commander of the EFCC, Joseph Yetwi, he observed that cyber fraud was rampant among youths within the ages of 14 to 40, stressing that corrupt practices have no sacred place and occur in schools, offices, governments, courts, churches, mosques, etc.

Bawa urged parents to always conduct due diligence on their children by following Proverbs 22: 6: ‘Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it’.
