Delta Queens Set To Boycott WAFU B Champions League Qualifier

Delta Queens could boycott their next fixture against Sam Nelly at the 2023 edition of the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B qualifiers on Friday in protest over unpaid salaries, bonuses, and allowances.

Nigeria’s sole representatives are making their debut in the WAFU-B qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League 2023 and the plan to stage a strike and boycott their next game comes after the 10-woman Asaba-based outfit defeated Burkina Faso side USFA 3-0 in their opening match in Benin City on Sunday.
