Solat Telecommunications, Nigeria’s leading home of electronics, mobile phones, and accessories has officially unveiled new kit for the second edition of Solat Telecommunications Ileya Celebrity Football Match scheduled for Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
It’s the best kit we’ve seen in a while from the Local Organising Committee, which has pure yellow and black with some additional touches at the back. The look of the jersey is finished off by the elegant crossover round-neck. The new kit is much brighter and doesn’t have as many variations of colours.
According to a statement signed and released by the company [Solat Telecommunications] on Monday, the second edition will be bigger and better in all ramifications. The statement, signed by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Solat Telecoms Nigeria, Alhaji Ganiyu Hammed, also reiterates that the company irrespective of religion, tribe, radio stations is ready to bring all celebrities together, appreciate thier talents, contributions to the development of Nigeria through thier contents and reignite peace in Nigeria through football.
He further revealed that arrangements have reached advanced stages to make this year’s edition better and bigger.
Dignitaries, celebrities, on-air personalities, MC Compere, Nollywood stars, captains of industries, owners and general manager of radio stations have confirmed thier appearances for the second edition.
The likes of comedian stars Ayo Ajewole ‘Woli Agba’, Olamide Oladimeji Mayungbe ‘Dele Omo Woli’, MC Remote and On-Air-Personlaties such as Dr. Bayo Faleke [FreshFMNigeria/TV Afrikana], Imoyosola Adetoro of Amuludun FM/Knowledge Radio, Fresh FM Abeokuta general manager Samson Akindele, Babatunde Saheed ‘Mr Sports’ of Fresh FM Nigeria, Adekunle Alubarika from Agidigbo FM, Obadare Oladosu ‘Oba Sports’ of Honour FM, Abiala Dahunsi ‘Kaka’, Jubril Arowolo, Afeez Mohammed Cantona of Jamz FM, Olawale Hamzat from Lagelu/Splash FM, Kenny Ogunmiloro, Gbolahan Olalere, Feranmi FAS, and Yinka Olatoberu from Fresh FM Nigeria, Solutions FM Sports presenter, Abass Ishola ‘Abasslah’ and Adewale Kayode ‘Adesports’ of Noble FM.
Others are Mister Rain, Tijani Olokodana, Ibadan born radio wizards, Samuel Ibikunle ‘ArugboBoisi’ and Emmanuel Ibikunle ‘ElereOba’, Ikeoluwa Yusuf have all confirmed their appearances for the game. Kick-off is at 3pm.
