Super Eagles players arrive Uyo for Cameroon clash.

Sixteen Super Eagles players have arrived Uyo on Monday evening to begin preparations for the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

The players who are yet to arrive Uyo for the game are Victor Moses, John Ogu, Anthony Nwakaeme, Leon Balogun, Aaron Samuel, Uche Agbo and Moses Simon. Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi will miss both legs of the qualifiers due to injury.

According to information released via the national team’s Twitter handle late on Monday night, the Eagles will commence training today which will be open, while the sessions for Wednesday and Thursday will be behind closed doors.

Also there will be a pre-match press conference at the Le Meridien, Uyo on Wednesday from 11.15am. Nigeria welcome the Indomitable Lions to Uyo on Friday with the reverse qualifier on Monday in Yaounde.
