Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi has challenged Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike to proof his allegations that he was trying to rig the legislative rerun polls in the state with the help of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the police.
Amaechi who through his media office on Wednesday said; “If Governor Wike and the PDP have justifiable evidence, let them present them to the general public and stop blackmailing me, INEC or the police. The allegations are immaterial, null and void. Why are Wike and the PDP making too much noise and fruitless allegations?”
Amaechi urged the people of the state to turn out in large numbers to vote on Saturday and also protect their votes.
He further told the people of the state to disregard allegations made by Wike which he said was aimed at scoring cheap popularity.
