Learn Africa appoints Alhaji Salisu Bala Hassan, as acting Managing Director

Learn Africa Plc. has appointed Alhaji Salisu Bala Hassan (FCE) as Acting Managing Director to oversee company affairs. He replaces Mr. Segun Oladipo whose tenure as Managing Director has just ended. Alhaji Salisu Bala Hassan (FCE) is an experienced professional, who joined the company as Sales Representative in 1996.Alhaji Salisu Bala HassanIn 2002, he was promoted to the position of a Senior Sales Representative and between 2008 – 2010, he was the Area Manager of the North- West District in Jos, Plateau State.

He was later promoted to the position of Acting District Manager in 2010, and became the substantive District Manager (North-West) in 2011. Until this new appointment, Alhaji Hassan was the Head of Sales (North) of the company. Learn Africa Plc (formerly Longman Nigeria Plc) is the largest and foremost educational publisher in Nigeria, a tradition that has been sustained for well over 50 years.

The company publishes educational materials for learners of all ages, interests ranging from pre-school, primary and secondary schools, with an expansive distribution network all over Nigeria.
