Violence: We’ll defend ourselves, Kano APC vows

The All Progressives Congress in Kano State has warned that they would defend themselves if steps were not taken by security agencies “to stop further unprovoked and mindless attacks and vandalisation of its campaign materials” allegedly masterminded by the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

The Spokesperson for Gawuna/Garo Campaign Council and Commissioner for Information, Mallam Muhammad Garba, issued the warning in a statement obtained by newsmen in Abuja today.

According to him, any further attack on members or supporters of the party “will be met with the full vehemence of the law.

He said the NNPP should be cautious of its members “and make them stay on the path of peace, otherwise, they should realized that violence is not the monopoly of any party.
