Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s minority stake close to agreement

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s minority stake close to agreement

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s deal to become a minority shareholder in Manchester United is now expected to be agreed during this month’s international break.

The agreement could be made as early as next week, and it is expected that Ratcliffe’s Ineos Group will pay around 1.25 billion pounds to buy 25%.

Recall that the Glazer family announced on 22 November 2022 that they were considering selling the club, and Sheikh Jassim withdrew from the process last month after submitting an offer alongside Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
