The Super Falcons of Nigeria played out a 1-1 draw against Ethiopia in the first leg of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers in Addis Ababa on Wednesday afternoon.
Ethiopia took the lead in the 6th minute, courtesy of a goal by Birkie Amare, but the Falcons equalised through captain Rasheedat Ajibade in the 52nd minute, who volleyed home a shot from outside the box to tie the game.
The Super Falcons will host the Lucys in Abuja at the MKO Abiola Stadium on Tuesday, 31st October, for the second leg of the Olympic qualifiers.
