The newly moved in students to IOT, mini-campus , agbooba of the kwara state polytechnic have called on the management of kwara state polytechnic, the state house of assembly to prevail on the religion leaders who they said have turned the institution to religion ground.
According to the students who spoke on the condition , a place tagged oke-suna within the campus had become praying ground for some religion groups both days and nights which according to them serve as wrong impact on their academic as a result of high noise pollution.
Some of the students who spoke with newsmen said , residents told them the group who have been praying on the mountain inside the mini-campus for over four months have created lot of health challenges as residents have not been sleeping well for over three months.
They however called on the authority of the polytechnic to ban such noise pollution in order for the them to have time to read within the school classes and library just as examinations approaches.
As reported by our journalist , the kwara poly students said the issue is not about religion but academic of students.
