The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given an insight into the voting population that will elect the next President.
The Electoral umpire pegged the number of eligible voters that will participate in the 2023 general election at 95 million.
INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, made the disclosure at an event organised by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) at the NED Headquarters, Washington DC, United States of America.
The Nation reports that the INEC Chair added: “The election is significant because the incumbent President is not eligible to run, this being his second and final term.
