Jordan on Friday voiced concerns over escalating regional tensions, attributing the heightened unrest in the Red Sea to what it deems Israeli “war crimes” against Palestinians.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi expressed concern that the situation could spiral into a broader conflict in the Middle East.
Despite Israel’s denial of war crime allegations during its conflict with Hamas in Gaza, Safadi criticized the international community for failing to intervene and halt what he called Israeli “aggression” against Palestinians.
Following US and UK strikes against Houthi military targets in Yemen, Safadi emphasized the interconnectedness of regional stability and security, urging the international community to act promptly.
