The Jigawa State Commissioner of Police, CP AT Abdullahi, has urged newly promoted senior police officers to be more committed and professional while discharging their responsibilities.
He made the call at the command’s headquarters, Dutse while decorating the 17 senior officers elevated from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police to substantive rank of Superintendents of Police.
Abdullahi who explained that the promotion was as a result of the Inspector General of Police’s recommendation and approval of the Police Service Commission, encouraged them to work diligently and maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity in the discharge of their duties as the police has confidence in them.
The CP also urged them to lead by example, inspire their subordinates, and work collaboratively with other security agencies to combat crime and maintain peace in the State.
