As residents count losses and seek ways to mitigate the effect the deadly Ibadan explosion had on them.
Award winning actress Aisha Lawal recounted her near death experience after she narrowly escaped the Ibadan explosion on Tuesday night, around Dejo Oyelese Close, Bodija Housing Estate.
RoyalTimes reported that the incident,which has left residents in a state of panic, resulted in serious property damage.
Taking to the internet to share her experience, Aisha Lawal narrated how she was in Bodija at the time of the explosion and how the deafening impact still resonates in her ears.
Explaining how she had initially parked her car near an estate to buy suya but providentially moved her vehicle to another location just moments before the explosion occurred.
She further posted a happy video of her on her instagram page and thanked everyone that checked up on her stating that she is perfectly fine.
“Alhamdulilah for today, I was at Bodija when the explosion took place, in fact, my ears are still ringing from the effect.
“Thank God for our lives. I parked to buy suya opposite that Estate but later I moved my car from Sloggers Club to the Metro Hotel on the same Osuntokun when it happened.
“God have mercy oo. Too many dead bodies. What exactly is going on?”
