Hamas’s military wing has disclosed that it has fired a “barrage of rockets” at Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – with sirens sending lawmakers to bomb shelters.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military has updated the number of people it believes are being held hostage in Gaza, increasing the number from one hundred and fifty-five to one hundred and ninety-nine.
