Flooding: Kwara Deputy Gov. Visits Oro-Ago, Says Govt to Reconstruct Collapsed Culvert

 

Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi Wednesday visited the collapsed Arigun culvert in Oro Ago, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State.

 

Received at the scene of the collapsed culvert by the Oloro of Oro Ago land, Oba Johnson Dada, his chiefs and some members of the community, Mr Alabi expressed gratitude to God that there were no casualties in the unfortunate development.

 

The Deputy Governor assured the Oloro of Oro Ago land and the entire people of Oro Ago that government would reconstruct the collapsed Arigun culvert which was destroyed by Monday’s downpour.

Mr Alabi was accompanied on the inspection by Director Civil Engineering Department of Ministry of Works and

Director Physical Planning and Development Authority.
