Baruten Attacks: Kwara Speaker sympathizes with victims, says Government is working to avert recurrence
The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has condemned recent attacks in Gure and Boriya communities of Baruten Local Government Area of the state, he assured that Government would do everything possible to avert recurrence of the unfortunate incidents.
Engr. Danladi-Salihu in a statement sympathized with the victims of the attacks stressing that the government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is responding promptly to forestall fruther disturbance.
The Speaker who also represents Ilesha/Gwanara state constituency also urged the citizens and residents of the areas to be vigilant and report any suspicious movements to security agents.
According to him , the the state understand the pain and suffering that the attacks have caused to the affected individuals and families. He noted that government is taking prompt action to avert any future occurrences.
While condemning the attacks in the strongest terms , the speaker said the state is doing everything within her power to ensure that those responsible for the attacks are apprehended and brought to justice.
