Photos: Abia state gets a new commissioner of police

The Abia state police command has gotten a new commissioner of police.

He is Micheal Ogbizi and he takes over from the immediate past police boss, Adeleye Oyebade.

The handover ceremony took place at the command headquarters in Umuahia.

Police sources say the change in leadership is connected to the recent clash between some Army officers and IPOB members.

Abia have faced quite a lot from the hand of all these trigger friendly officers, It is heartbreaking that these are happening in such times when they are supposed to protect the lives of citizens as there are more death of people killed by police than the ones covid 19 killed. God will help us o. Congratulations to the new CP…Just hoping that God will justify all these with her appearing. Abia keeps getting better, we are God’s own state.
