The Kwara state government has announced plans to commence a screening exercise in all the 16 local government areas of the state for all SUBEB teachers, TSC teachers and local government workers from Monday, March 16 to Friday, March 20, 2020.
Commissioner of Finance and Planning, Kwara State, Oyeyemi Olasumbo Florence, made the announcement in a statement issued and signed by her on Friday in Ilorin, the state capital.
Oyeyemi said all the aforementioned workers are expected to come along with the following documents:
1. Staff I.D with PSN.
2. Original higher qualification certificates with photocopies.
3. Passport photographs.
4. Original letter of appointment and letter of confirmation or appointment with photocopies.
5. Evidence of last promotion and bank details with BVN.
The statement said, “All workers will be physically screened at the screening points of their respective local government headquarters for effective documentation.
“It is worthy to note that this exercise is different from the Human Resources management solutions also approved by the State Executive Council but yet to be deployed,” she said.
According to the commissioner, this screening exercise is however mandated for positive review for prompt implementation of minimum wage.
