The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC has called on all commercial bus drivers to remove burglary proof meter from the windows of their buses which according to the FRSC obstruct recue of passengers in the event of emergency.
The kwara state sector command of the FRSC also called on all road users to adhere strictly to road traffic rules and regulations following the increase in vehicular movement in and out of kwara state as a result of Eid-El-Fitri celebration.
The road safety in a statement signed by the sector public enlightenment officer, Soloman Meremikwu and made available to Royaltimes cautioned road users on over loading, over speeding and avoid driving under influence of alcohol.
While warning alcohol sellers to desist from selling alcohol at motor parks, the FRSC called on commuters to speak out in case of drivers’ reckless driving.
The command however called on Nigerians to call 112 or 070022553772 in case of emergency.
