The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said it has banned Anambra pupil, Mmesoma Ejikeme who was accused of forging her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination result from taking the board’s examinations for three years.
In a statement by the spokesperson of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin insisted that the Anambra pupil forged her result adding that the board concluded high-level investigations before coming to the conclusion.
Meanwhile, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, on Tuesday said that Nigerians will be shocked if the board decides to reveal the details of the “forgery” perpetrated by Mmesoma Ejikeme, adding that the result paraded by Ejikeme was the template for a student who sat for the UTME two years ago.
However, a lawyer, Johnmary Maduakolam, has threatened to sue the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and the management of the Board should they fail to tender an apology to Anambra pupil, Mmesoma Ejikeme, who was accused by JAMB of manually inflating her 2023 UTME result.
