Three siblings of the same parents on Sunday reportedly died of suffocation inside a car parked in their residential quarters in Ilorin, Kwara State.
According to reports, the mother of the boy and two girls, Shade Silifat, who had gone out to buy noodles for their school meals on Monday, fainted due to the incident which occurred at Boluke Line, Zango-Kulende quarters in Ilorin at 2pm.
The children had locked themselves in the car which their father borrowed from his sister and their footwear was discovered by their mother outside the parked car.
The three children were then rushed to a clinic, close to their residence for medical attention before being redirected to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, where they were all confirmed dead.
