Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has congratulated Victor Osimhen for securing the prestigious CAF Men’s Player of the Year for 2023.
The announcement took place at the ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday night, where Osimhen outshone competitors Achraf Hakimi of Morocco and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah.
Peseiro publicly congratulated Osimhen on his official X handle, commending his exceptional skills, unwavering commitment, and top-notch professionalism that place him among the world’s elite.
At 24, Osimhen makes history as the first Nigerian since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999 to clinch this accolade.
