The Federal Government has ordered the relocation of the headquarters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) from Abuja to Lagos. The directive was disclosed in a memo signed by the Managing Director of FAAN, Mrs Olubunmi Kuku.
RoyalTimes reported the memo, dated January 15, 2024, outlined the directive from the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, mandating the relocation of FAAN’s headquarters to Lagos.
The document further instructed the recipients to provide an analysis of the implications of this move on the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The memo read:
”The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development has directed that the Headquarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) should be relocated from Abuja to Lagos.
”Consequent upon the above, you are requested to provide the implication of the relocation to the management.”
