No plan to strike over fuel subsidy removal – NLC

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, has said that it has no plan to embark on strike on Friday over the withdrawal of fuel subsidy.

Mr Benson Upah, Head of Information and Public Affairs at the NLC made the declaration on Thursday in Abuja.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that Upah urged members of the public to disregard stories in the rumour mill that it would call workers out for strike from June 2 as the stories did not emanate from the congress.
