The Lagos State Government has impounded over 100 vehicles parked indiscriminately on bridges in the state.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Sola Giwa, disclosed that the exercise was conducted after a seven-day vacation order was issued on Monday, October 16, to motorists to remove the affected vehicles.
The Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq in a statement on Thursday, explained that the aim of the enforcement was to completely eradicate gridlock on bridges.
