…Says Death of Teenage Daughter Quite Sorrowful

…Consoles Minister, Family Members to Accept Loss as Test from Almighty Allah, as he Prays for Allah’s Rahma for Deceased

Gombe state Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya earlier today paid a condolence visit to the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, over the loss of his 13- year old daughter, Aisha ( Amal).

The Governor, who was accompanied on the visit by Sen. Joshua Lidani; Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Hon. Hamma Adama Dattuwa Ali- Kumo and his counterpart on Abuja Liaison Hon. Usman Aliyu Garry,

Governor Yahaya, in a statement on Saturday by Ismaila Uba Misilli, his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, described the death of young Aisha as quite saddening and heartbreaking, considering her age and the bond that had existed between the young girl and her parent.

Governor Yahaya had earlier in a condolence message issued on his behalf, consoled the Hon. Minister to take solace and accept the death of the teenage daughter as a test from the Almighty Allah, quoting from the Prophet’s saying ‘what Allah Has taken belongs to Him and to Him belongs what He granted and He has an appointed time for everything’.

He was quoted in the statement as saying, ” I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of the young Amal, whose beautiful memories I believe will continue to linger in the minds of not only her parents but also of those who came in contact with her.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with our brother, Sheikh Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and his entire family in this difficult moment.

“On behalf of the government and people of Gombe state, I extend our deepest condolences and pray Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah and give us the fortitude to bear this great loss”, the statement concluded.
