The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kogi says four persons died while six persons sustained injuries in an accident on Kabba-Lokoja-Abuja road.
Kogi Sector Commander Stephen Dawulung who confirmed the incident to reporters in Lokoja today, noted that one person survived the crash unhurt.
Dawulung said that the accident involved a bus along Kilometer 2, Line 3, Obajana, Kogi on Kabba-Lokoja-Abuja road.
According to him, the injured persons were rescued by the corps’ personnel and were quickly rushed to a hospital in Obajana for treatment while the four bodies were deposited in the hospital’s morgue.
He said that the accident was caused by overspeeding which caused the car to summersault.
