President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on governors to plead with the citizens for patience, promising to assuage the impact of fuel subsidy removal which has created hardship on the standard of living of the citizens.
The president disclosed this during a visit to the presidency by the set of 1999 governors.
Giving reasons for the delay of the palliative, the president said he is trying to prevent the palliative from getting to wrong hands, noting that the citizens will eventually enjoy the prosperity of the nation.
