Gobir Foundation Presents Cheques To Persons With Disabilities 

On Friday, 13th December, no fewer than 46 members of the Kwara State Joint National Association for Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWD) benefited from the social intervention of the Gobir Foundation.

Waziri Yakubu Gobir, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) governorship candidate in Kwara State, presented the cheques to the beneficiaries at the Foundation’s office in GRA, Ilorin.

It is recalled that during the 2022 International Day of Persons With Disabilities, the Gobir foundation pledged the sum of N500,000 to support members of the association.

According to the chairman of the association Comrade Yusuf Bashir was represented by the State Coordinator for Albino, Mallam Abdulsalam Kehinde, the empowerment by Gobir Foundation will ensure  well-being of disabled persons in the country. He further extolled the Gobir Foundation for standing with the association.
