Two pilots of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) narrowly escaped injury after a mishap involving a Super Mushshak trainer aircraft occurred during a routine training flight on Thursday.
According to Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet, the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, the incident took place approximately 3.5 nautical miles from the Kaduna Military Airfield.
According to reports, Gabkwet reported that the accident involving the Super Mushshak trainer aircraft happened around 2:35 pm on Thursday afternoon.
Gabkwet further mentioned that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has ordered a preliminary investigation to determine the immediate cause of the crash.
