The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has vowed not to back down in seeking justice as he said he would appeal the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal delivered on Wednesday.
Obi, according to the Vanguard, disagrees with the Court’s reasoning and conclusions in the judgment, despite respecting the views and rulings of the Court.
The former Anambra governor who stated on Thursday that the responsibility now falls on the Supreme Court implored Nigerians to remain focused, steadfast, and peaceful; abide by the rule of law, and understand that the matter has not reached its logical conclusion.
He further stated that his legal team has been authorized to file an appeal against the decision.
