Nigeria has expressed solidarity with Russia following the devastating attack at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, which claimed the lives of at least 115 individuals and left scores injured.
In a statement issued by Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the country extended its heartfelt condolences to the people and government of the Russian Federation.
“We convey our deepest condolences to the people and Government of the Russian Federation on the tragic attack carried out at the Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow that resulted in the death of innocent people and injuries to more than a hundred others.
“The Government and people of Nigeria commiserate with the victims of this tragic attack and pray for the repose of their souls. We also pray for the quick recovery of those injured.
“At this challenging time, we stand in brotherhood with the government and Russian Federation and send our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Russian president, His Excellency Vladimir Putin,” the message stated.
Nigeria’s message of support was directed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing deep sympathy and solidarity with the Russian people in the face of this horrific act of violence.
Nigeria stands in solidarity with Russia during this challenging time, offering prayers for the souls of the deceased and wishing a swift recovery for those injured in the attack.
