Leicester City is set to face Millwall in Wednesday’s Championship clash without the services of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho.
The absence of Iheanacho follows his non-participation in the Foxes’ recent 4-0 victory against Plymouth Argyle last weekend, attributed to illness.
Manager Enzo Maresca addressed the media in a press conference, revealing that Iheanacho, along with three other players, will be sidelined for the Millwall encounter.
Despite the absence of key players, Leicester City is on the verge of making Championship history. Currently holding 49 points, the Foxes could become the first team in Championship history to amass more than 51 points after 21 games if they secure a victory against Millwall tonight.
