Nigeria Customs experienced a setback in the FIBA Women’s Basketball League in Egypt as they suffered a 73-53 defeat against KPA of Kenya in their second game.
The Border Girls faced a challenging second quarter, finding themselves trailing by 19 points at halftime and managing to score only 8 points.
KPA, displaying superior performance, continued their dominance, leading with a score of 62-41 over the Border Girls by the end of the third quarter.
Despite a resilient effort in the final quarter, the Border Girls were unable to overcome the prowess of their Kenyan opponents, resulting in a final score of 73-53.
The Nigerian side is set to face the hosts and defending champions, Alexandria Sporting, in their upcoming match scheduled for tomorrow at 8 pm.
