The Special Assistant on Public Communications to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Phrank Shaibu, has urged Nigerians to be wary of what he described as a deliberate ploy by the President Bola Tinubu administration to use propaganda to deceive citizens.
Shaibu in a statement in Abuja, on Sunday, said Nigerians should not be deceived by the apology issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale and others because “they are only sorry they got caught.”
According to him, the President’s handlers have been caught in at least ten embarrassing lies which are part of the orchestrated propaganda siege on Nigerians over a one hundred and seventeen days period.
He further said the fact that president Tinubu has more media aides than economic and security advisers is enough to prove that his administration would rely on propaganda as a state policy.
