The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has strongly condemned Primate Elijah Ayodele over his recent prophecy suggesting that Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, would lose the gubernatorial election in 2025.
Primate Ayodele had stirred controversy by predicting that Soludo might face defeat if the All Progressives Congress (APC) fielded a strong candidate in the forthcoming election cycle.
In response, APGA, represented by the APGA Media Warriors Forum, rebuked Ayodele, accusing him of exploiting divine authority to spread falsehoods under the guise of prophecy.
Chinedu Obigwe, the National Coordinator of the group, emphasized APGA’s unwavering support for Governor Soludo, expressing confidence in his ability to secure victory in the 2025 election. Obigwe dismissed Ayodele’s prophecy as unsubstantiated and urged the public not to be swayed by what he described as baseless predictions.
In a press release issued by the coordinator, Obigwe criticized Ayodele’s track record, labeling him a “doomsday Prophet” whose prophecies often fail to materialize. He challenged Ayodele to provide evidence to support his claims and accused him of being an “imitation prophet” seeking attention through sensationalism.
