Ahead of the 2023 General Election, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, has warned against a Muslim-Muslim ticket, threatening to mobilize its members against voting for any party with a Muslim-Muslim ticket in the election.
According to the National President of PFN, Wale Oke, Sunday, June 26, 2022, is declared a Permanent Voters Card PVC Day in all its churches nationwide, adding that members will be mandated to show their PVCs before entering the church and those without PVC will be directed to go out and get theirs before the deadline.
Oke noted that PFN is not kicking against Muslim-Muslim ticket due to religion but on the basis of fairness and equity.
It is recalled that former Governor of Abia State Orji Kalu supported the Muslim-Muslim ticket, adding that Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Christian and a senior pastor at the Pentecostal church.
