Why PDP protested at INEC headquarters – Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has said his party protested at the national headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja because all the provisions of the current Electoral law were completely contravened.

It was earlier reported that Atiku, the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, other party leaders and supporters led a protest at the national headquarters of the INEC in Abuja.

Speaking to newsmen outside of the gate of INEC headquarter in Abuja, Atiku who vowed that the protest would continue said, all the provisions of the current Electoral law during the election.

He added that the electoral umpire neglected their protest and announced the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as winner of the poll.

Meanwhile, Kola Ologbondiyan, the former spokesperson of the party, said the party is expressing disaffection with the process of the election.
