The IVTEC international vocational technical and entrepreneurship college Kwara state in conjunction with Riccofortezza Asteven has commenced a three weeks scholarship training for twenty five Kwara indigenes on sollar power.
Speaking with newsmen at the school premises, the acting rector of the institution Doctor Ade shomide commended Riccofortezza Asteven for given back to the community.
Also speaking , the managing director of the company handling the operation light up kwara ,Doctor Dickson Aleroh said who said the twenty million has been set aside to empower the trainees in form of provision of equipment and gadget said the programme is part of the companies cooperate social responsibility CSR.
Speaking on security measure put in place to ensure safety of sollar street light protection and to eradicate vandalization , Aleroh commended the state governor Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed for putting employing security personnel to protect the street light from being vandalized.
However some of the trainees Atolagbe Rachael and Ajibola Oluwaseun commended the sponsor of the sollar power training at the IVTEC for remembering the indegine of the state in term of poverty alleviation and job creation.
