Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, on Tuesday, asserted that no price was too big to ensure peace in the state.
Fubara spoke as stakeholders rejected the truce brokered between him and his immediate predecessor, Minister Nyesom Wike to end the political crisis in the state, less than 24 hours after the agreement was signed.
Amid claims and counter-claims that Fubara did not sign the eight-point agreement, elders and political leaders of the state led by former Governor Rufus Ada-George, rejected the resolution terms.
Meanwhile Former Governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili says he is satisfied with the decisions of Governor Siminalayi Fubara since his inauguration in May.
Dr Odili made this assertion at the 3rd Convocation of Pamo University of Medical Sciences, noting that the governor has hit the ground running as governance is not an easy business and will continue to hold him in prayers to succeed well.
