As over fifty thousand pupils in Kwara sat for common entrance examination today, an appeal has gone to teachers to be more dedicated while government has also been urged to take welfare of teachers as first priority.
Speaking with our journalist who monitored the examination, the deputy coordinator for Ilorinwest , Zone office “D” of the quality assurance Bureau of state ministry of education and human capital development , Aransiola Bola said the 2018 examination is satisfactory.
She commended the state government, the state commissioner for education and the entire staff of Quality Assurance Bureau for the success of the examination.
Some parents and teacher of Greatminds Nursery and primary school who spoke with our correspondent called on government to focus on the development of education in Nigeria.
In his comment , the principal of government day junior secondary Ahmed AhmedTejudini advised parents and teachers to desist from exposing their children to examination malpractice at tender age for the sake of nation’s future.
Speaking with newsmen, the Director of Examination, State Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, AlhajiAbubakarBabatunde-Ahmed said the examination took place at the four hundred and fifty Public Junior Secondary Schools across the state.
He appreciated the state Governor, AlhajiAbdulfatah Ahmed for provide adequate logistics for the exercise toward having success conduct of the exercise.
